Campaign Statement

My first purchase in Montebello was Building 5903 in 1991. Since then and notwithstanding my relocations due to my employer, I have kept connected to the Montebello community, both by owning units and by volunteering my efforts and experience.

Activities Dedicated to Montebello & Experiences

As a candidate for the Board, my goals lie in the following areas of objectives and priorities.

  1. Ensuring open Committee meetings and participation by membership and not by arbitrary appointment
  2. Transparency & Proper Governance
    • We have governance rules which should be followed from the Roberts Rules of Order to Administrative Resolutions (ARs) and not a whimsical optional embrace of them
  3. Develop and introduce a Disciplined and Prudent approach to Financial Management & Budgeting
    1. Projects should be evaluated through ROI (Return on Investment) criteria
    2. A focused and conservative approach to spending funds on association projects
    3. A passionate focus on how we can save money
    4. An elevated and enhanced approach to funds and investment management
  4. Assist in increasing YOUR equity in the unit values
    1. Focus on the priority of investing in our aging infrastructure
    2. Continue efforts on promoting Montebello to outside the perimeter as a great place to live
    3. Enhance Montebello's digital presence, electronic communications and new ways to make us relevant
  5. Dedicating resources and efforts to attract and retain the BEST talent to work for Montebello
  6. Ensuring that Montebello Board remains strategic in vision and in execution and not running the day-to-day operations

About Me

RAYMOND F. GOODRICH

Owner since 1991

Having traveled the world during my father's deployments in his 32 years of military service, these experiences were both personally fulfilling and culturally enriching. They gave me a strong aperture of thought and mind, including the gift of seeing matters with multi-dimensional perspective and ensuring inclusivity of other opinions. My banking experience expands over 40 years and has been challenging and rewarding. Whether it was the Great Recession of 2008 or the Pandemic of 2020, I was a foundation as a resource and a trusted advisor for the multitude of clients who worked with me and were affected by these events. Also, through my travels and living overseas, I speak multiple languages: English, Italian, Spanish and French.
